   Went there for dinner tonight.....at 7:00PM.  Hostess looked at us like we were nuts when we said we didn't have reservations.  But we waited.  Only took an hour; we waited in the bar, of course!  I don't eat steak ever so that's never been the draw for me.  Had the Fried Chicken tonight.  Very nice.

The place was jammed.  Anyways a nice young family with an adorable little girl were seated at the table next to us.  They asked us how far we came...told them we lived in the neighborhood.  They came from Logan Square.  Evidently, the Check Please episode aired again today and prompted her to make reservations.  I guess that might have been part of the reason they were so busy.

But even as busy as it was, the service is superb there.  

We are lucky to have that place in our hood.
