Anyone else thinking tagging has seen an increase? I know the blue line Harlem stop can't seem to keep up. They paint to cover and the next day they are tagged again.

Also, noticed under Circle bridge hit again and west side of Ferrara Pan building. I guess since the Roos canvas is gone, they are doing it on anything they can. No respect.

Under the Circle bridge it is covered!! And surprised nothing is done as the cops sit under there all the time.

The Circle el stop gets tagged daily. CTA paints it and the next day all new ones. No respect.

Yes, it has increased all around the Harlem stop especially around the Circle entrance and on the platform itself as well as the areas under the Circle Ave bridge between Ferrara Pan and what was the Roos.

Especially under the Circle bridge, where I've seen police cars parked. Perhaps they need to add that to their patrol area.

Jerry, are you sure that graffiti is going up as soon as a bare wall is exposed? Or was some of that graffiti already done from the inside long ago?

All I can add, demo, is that I exit at Circle Avenue from the Blue line daily and the graffiti Jerry mentions is new. Ferrara never had graffiti on it's walls that I can recall. And under the bridge currently has quite an elaborate tagging on it now that wasn't there 2 weeks ago.

The CTA repaints the wall at Circle probably at least once a week. The new tags appear while the 'wet paint' signs are still on it! It's a sin.

And a crime. Arrests and prosecutions would help.

Thing is, there is a camera right there. Obviously, no one ever monitors it though!

Thanks Pie, Demo, I check that building every day as I go over the bridge, what I can't figure out is how they are not caught, this is not stuff done in 15 minutes.
