Not sure if you were around for the Chris Miller fiasco. The first sentence is absolutely factual. "Over-excitement" happens?

You're right about where the ball is. It's right where it's been for 16 years. Unfinished business? All of it. As Rory noted, Mad St. remains incomplete. There was/is no plan. MATC has gotten what he's wanted. What have we?

Wasn't around for Chris Miller, vaguely remember references to him (think a him?). Yes, over-excitement happens, very different from "the devils made them do it":)

More "two can play @ that game" than anything satanic. From outside, and if you take the mayor and Harris at their word, it was four or five playing their own hands, for their own stakes. Free radicals? Dog whistles at 50 paces? The problem is that we don't know what impact the mailers had. Did they work or not? As intended or did they backfire?

The other problem is that the unseen hands that bankrolled the mailers were playing by an entirely different set of rules. This isn't a minor flaw in the election laws, it's a whopper. At minimum, any election related materials sent through the USPS should have the printer's name on it and any printing/mailing service should comply with campaign and disclosure laws.

Sure, smarter rats will devise new methods of ignoring the laws, but what does it say that there's minimal or no attempt to enforce the rules when it comes to elections?

Not sure they were all mailed, didn't look that close, had quite a few drop-offs. REM Services is right here.

Remember the topic, hoards of homeless walking our streets, infiltrating our neighborhood, looking for a day's pay. No one can say we didn't have a dramatic flair:)

IMO, Insulting half of its residents was the "both sides" mistake.
Just wanted to acknowledge publicly, this is one of your most pointedly written intelligent posts regarding FP.

Well I guess Mr Harris conceded the race under the guise of an opinion piece in the Review. It was as expected, reinforced my belief that I made the right choice.

Another four years of a leader who rules with intimidation and condescending behaviors. So proud to live here.
